Here is a guest post by underwater photographer and PADI Master Instructor Grahame Massicks, Aka ‘The Scuba Guru’ , showcasing some of his favorite diving photos from Bali, Indonesia.  Bali is a fascinating little island in the Indonesian archipelago. For those of you with a thirst for the exotic and unusual my advice is to miss Kuta and head north into the mountains, jungle and rice paddies. There you will find active volcanoes, high lakes, accommodation that varies from the boutique to the budget, the produce of Bali’s super talented artists and artisans, and of course wondrous food!

But the best places in Bali lie underwater inhabited by an amazing variety of marine life from the gigantic sunfish, the Mola Mola, to the tiniest shrimps and nudibranchs. Throw in the majestic World War II wreck, the ‘Liberty’ at Tulamben along with good quality dive operators and go explore! All the photos in this collection have been taken on the dive sites around Bali, Indonesia. Most of them have been taken on shore dives in Ahmed, Seraya or Tulamben. I have been taking underwater photos and working as a dive instructor for over thirteen years now. Most of the shots have been taken on my trusty Olympus 5060 with a Sea and Sea strobe and add on wet lenses, both wide angle and macro. If you would like to know more about me, underwater photography or learning to dive on Tioman Island then check out my web site.
