Manila, Philippines

The capital of the Philippines is definitely right called the Pearl of the Orient. Situated on Luzon, this is a sprawling, modern city, and is a place that’s unique situated, because it serves as a commercial and cultural hub.

It’s a well-developed destination, and when people say Manila they don’t usually mean only the city, but rather Metro Manila, which is the larger region surrounding the city that has incorporated plenty of different cities into one enormous sprawling hub. The best way to reach Manila is by air, and because NAIA Airport is very large and built with modern standards in mind, it’s connected to the rest of the world and easily reachable.
