Underwater Photo Essay: Shark Diving in Bahamas

Scuba diving in the Caribbean has always been a favorite vacation activity for many, with awesome locations such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, and many other tropical islands. But what many don’t know is that you can do some incredible shark dives in the great island nation of Bahamas.

There is a variety of different types of diving in the Bahamas, such as nice reefs, wrecks, cenotes, and yes, sharks.  In places like the Grand Bahamas and Stuart’s Cove, there are operators that can take you out to shark feeding sites, and let you get up close and personal with these gentle giants.

Our very own underwater photographer friend, Troy Iloski, recently headed down to Bahamas to check out these shark diving locations, and take some awesome shots of a variety of shark species. He caught some great shots, which he is sharing here with us here.
