Sibuyan Island, Philippines
A stunningly beautiful place, Sibuyan Island is most known for its biodiversity. It’s been often hailed as the Galapagos of Asia because of the great number of species living there. There are plenty of things to see on Sibuyan, like the large reef around Cresta de Gallo, and the marine life is amazing too.
With species like mantas, sharks, barracudas, and whale sharks, diving around Sibuyan Island is a treat. Because it’s not connected to the rest of the Philippine archipelago, and there is no airport on the island, the best to reach Sibuyan is by ferry from Batangas, or the closer islands of Romblon, Tablas or even Boracay.
